After a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time available through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.
The big draw is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
An imaginative landscape chart generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.
The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.
For a minimum of $30, the comprehensive package includes all the following:
All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, but you can also select their donation amount in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
