Automobiles in German City Found Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Officers reported they were alerted by a resident who noticed a car in Hanau marked with red-colored fluid

Around 50 automobiles have been covered with what seems to be human blood in the Germany's city of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Automobiles, walls and mailboxes were marked, in some cases with Nazi symbols, they stated in a statement.

Officers state they were notified during the night on Wednesday evening, when a resident discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored substance.

The fluid had been applied in the pattern of a banned symbol, they stated.

Police then discovered many other marked automobiles and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are banned in Germany under regulations prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials report preliminary tests show the fluid was most likely blood from a person.

"Currently there is no lead as to where it came from; investigators are not yet cognizant of any harm in relation with the incident," they added.

Municipal representatives said they were attempting "to unravel the incident" and have requested to the residents for details.

A senior political figure commented the incident left him without words and had to be solved quickly.

"This act affects the center of Hanau and revives the wounds of the right-wing terrorist attack in 2020," he posted on a platform, mentioning the death of nine victims by a assailant aiming at individuals of migrant background in five years prior.
